ChartWorld has announced the successful launch of its innovative Information Overlay (CIO+) data service for Tokyo Keiki EC9000 and EC8100/8600 ECDIS models.
CIO+ is ChartWorld’s market-leading data service designed to enhance the safety of navigation and ensure compliance with the latest maritime regulations. With this latest extension, Tokyo Keiki EC9000 and EC8100/8600 ECDIS users can now have the advanced features CIO+ automatically integrated into their onboard systems.

The CIO+ data is accessible in the Tokyo Keiki ECDIS User Chart format and can be overlaid in the ECDIS and made available through the ‘Pick Report’ selection.
The source data for CIO+ includes the T&P NtM, published by UKHO, and data supplemented with the local T&P from China, India, Colombia, and Denmark. Navigational Warnings from each NAVAREA Co-Ordinator and Warnings from more than 150 Coastal and Local authorities are included and are updated daily.
