Although I've never sailed, I started my career as a marine cartographer 14 years ago. Having been through the paper-to-digital transition myself, I can relate to the challenges mariners are facing today. Over the last six years at ChartWorld, most of that time spent in Asia, I have enjoyed working for a company that has built solutions for both the today and tomorrow’s mariners.
Our global sales team is making promises every day that we can deliver on thanks to the innovative solutions being developed in-house and the expertise we have within our organisation.Contact Now

Director Navigation Solutions (AFNI)
My maritime career began when I started in the age of 6, to enjoy sailing in an Optimist dinghy on the river Elbe. My love and passion for the sea was born and consequently, after finishing school, I decided to join the Navy where I served as a seagoing Deck Officer on-board Minesweepers until 1995.
I started in Marine Electronics in 1996 focussing on GMDSS, Radar and GPS and joined Transas Marine in 1999 with ECS & ECDIS and where I was ultimately deeply involved in Maritime Simulation. In this position I gained a deep understanding on maritime standards for training, bridge regulations and interfaces, ship handling & hydrodynamics as well as the requirements of digital shipping for todays and future seafarers.
In 2018 I joined SevenCs / Chartworld as Director Navigation Solutions, where I am since responsible for the companies onBoard and Chart Kernel Solutions and where I can be a passionate driver for safe and efficient Navigation.Contact Now
